Software development is based on the Agile development
methodology, Scrum method. EXECOM has standardized processes, but is flexible in respect to clients’ requests.
Does the company practice pilot projects?
Yes, as a matter of fact, when working with the client for
the first time. Pilot projects serve as introduction point to new project realization.
Can EXECOM work together with other client’s suppliers to complete the deliverables?
Yes, that is not a rare case in practice. EXECOM is very
open in exchanging and sharing knowledge. Working with other suppliers is always seen as a great
opportunity.
How can a client control or view project steps?
Project management is arranged by internal web application.
It is a detailed web form with all of the project tasks and issues defined. Every issue/task has a
description, history, names of the persons assigned to it, times estimated and spent for resolving,
and all attachments relevant to the issue. Daily, weekly and monthly reports are generated from the
application and a client has access to them. It all depends how deep a client wants to be involved
in the development process, but access is available 24/7/365. Also, it is not a rare case to use
clients’ time/task tracking tools.
What type of quality certifications do developers/company have?
EXECOM has implemented ISO 9001:2008 standard in 2005, and
all process are being completed according to this standard. Project managers have CMMI 1.2 and
Professional Scrum Master I certificates, and most of developers are MCP certified.
How are team members for particular project selected?
Team selection is a process based on skill leveling done by
EXECOM project managers. Developers are selected for their previous experience, skills and
technologies they experts working with. Once verified, team structure changing is not possible
without client’s approval.
Are EXECOM developers prepared to travel to partners’ site and under which circumstances?
Project realization often requires business trips to
partner's site. Software developers and project managers are prepared to work abroad as much as
development process demands. Terms are regulated by contract.
Do EXECOM developers communicate in foreign languages and which?
English is the official language in EXECOM and all employees
are fluent in English. Couple of employees also speak German, Dutch and Russian.

There are two testing teams in the company. Certain
number of testers is assigned to every project, based on its complexity. The procedure is
standardized and implies performing documentation process in accordance with IEEE829 standard for
