Innovation by EXECOM
Working with advanced technologies and on challenging projects inspires EXECOM to innovate.
The company is currently working on the development of a product aimed to solve problems of
inefficient files storage, search and usage. Recognized by the Innovation Fund as an innovative company,
EXECOM’s story is published on the Fund’s website. To clarify, the main objectives of the Fund
are promotion of innovation in priority areas of science and technology and support of commercialization
of technology transfer, in order to enable new technologies to reach the market.

Shot the Olympic visa!
EXECOM is proud to announce that our colleague, Gordana Mikovic-Mucibabic, will be participating
at the Olympic Games for hearing impaired in 2013. Gordana is a member of Serbian deaf shooting
national team and is the medal-winning competitor. At the European Deaf Shooting Championships in
Munich, she made it to the finals and ‘shot’ the Olympic visa! We congratulate Gordana and wish her
to see her on the throne at the Games.

Speaker at the ‘Softwarekompetenz für die Zukunft’
Highly appreciated opportunity was given to EXECOM. The company was invited to speak at the conference
on new approaches in the open source community and the usage of Embedded Eclipse. ‘Softwarekompetenz
für die Zukunft'’ was held in Stuttgart and gathered numerous visitors from software development
community and prominent key speakers. EXECOM’s Test Manager, Mr. Predrag Skokovic, talked about
the experience in and benefits of using Open Source when building application-specific test tools.
It was a great opportunity to meet peers, hear about the new movements in the field and share ideas.

EXECOM has become a member of the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI), a grassroots
organization addressing the global challenges of Europe’s future competitiveness through
innovation. EAI is initiated through cooperation between businesses, public, private and
government organizations and focuses on the greatest potential of ICT- driven innovation.
EXECOM is going to participate actively in innovation process, policy making and
representation along with world's leading experts from EAI. The company’s proud to be accompanied
by more than 100 members who include: IBM, Microsoft Research Center, European professional
societies, Universities, etc.

The best in Serbia!
EXECOM is very proud to announce that it was proclaimed the best company in Serbia in 2010!
Selected out of 500 successful companies, EXECOM was given this extraordinary honour. The
competent panel of judges addressed profit, productivity and efficiency as main criteria in
the competition organized by prominent daily newspaper Blic and Banca Intesa. After fifteen
years of working successfully with clients from all over the world, EXECOM is very proud to
be praised in such way. The company’s business logic was and remains very simple: building
unique relationships with clients and investing in young people, who represent the company’s
core strength. However, besides representing a great pleasure, the award sets standards for
new improvements. The company will keep on committing to clients, quality and timelines.

Participation in Future Technology event
As a member of FHI,
the network of technology companies on the Dutch market, EXECOM participated in the Future
Technology Today event. The aim was to address the need for usage of advanced
technologies and their impact on overall improvement. Among around 50 companies and their
representatives EXECOM presented its projects and competences, highlighting experience in
the Green IT area.

Golden once again
EXECOM has become a Microsoft certified partner in 2004 for the first time. Ever since, the
company has been earning competences for Midmarket Solution Provider, Information Worker
Solutions, Networking Infrastructure Solutions, Application Integration...The commitment to
following high-tech trends continued. Starting from January 2011, EXECOM holds a Gold
Independent Software Vendor competency, as a confirmation of the highest level of
partnership with Microsoft.

Introducing ASD:Suite
EXECOM is very excited to announce its participation in the Starting ASD training which
introduces the underlying ASD technology and how it can be effectively used in model
driven software development. Verum’s ASD:Suite accelerates time to production of quality
software systems. It provides advantages in software design and development regarding
greater precision than conventional product development tools offer. Developers can
easily verify designs at any point in the implementation process to make sure that all
system and customer requirements are being satisfied. EXECOM is eager to start working
with this technology in future project developments.

After 2009 "Deloitte Technology Fast 50" ranking, EXECOM is once again listed among the
fastest-growing technology companies in CE. The annual ranking shows fifty fastest
growing IT companies based on their percentage of revenue over a five-year period.

EXECOM celebrated its 15th birthday!
Saturday, the 6th of November, was a big day for EXECOM. Together with business
partners
and friends, the company’s employees have celebrated 15 years of working successfully.
Since its establishment, EXECOM has grown to a reliable partner in the custom software
solutions market, engaging academically qualified IT experts. Working internationally,
the company has gained significant experience and built strategic partnership with its
clients. A good cause for celebration indeed!

EXECOM speaks Dutch!
In order to improve performance and extend its scope of work, EXECOM introduced new
service – translation of project documentation from Dutch to English and vice versa.
With professional assistance, development is now easier and time spent for defining
precise requirements is significantly shortened.

On track with Ruby on Rails
In order to improve software development process EXECOM developers stay up to date with
technologies and trends. The company introduced rapid development for web applications
by using Ruby on Rails which promotes Agile development methodology and allows
developers to write less code for the same functionalities than in many other languages
and frameworks. EXECOM development teams report that with Ruby on Rails applications are
much simpler to develop, the process is more productive and effective, the
implementation makes future modifications easier and finally, it is cost-effective
without compromising quality of products and development process overall.

The Support to Enterprise Competitiveness and Export Promotion (SECEP) Project seeks to
improve the competitiveness of Serbian SMEs. The Project is funded by the European
Union. EXECOM is a part of internationalization activity with the goal to improve
business performance and market position. Current company’s performance and organization
were very well graded by EFQM Excellence Model and EXECOM is prepared to actively
participate in Project activities.

Awarded by Deloitte
Deloitte announced the 10th annual Central European ranking of the fifty
fastest growing
technology companies based on their revenue growth in the past five years. EXECOM was
ranked 10th and received the award at Deloitte’s press conference. The
company was
recognized as one of the biggest IT suppliers in the region and deservedly found itself

EXECOM’s participation at the conference on Software Testing and Software Quality
Management SEETEST 2009 was a huge success! The company’s Test Manager Mr. Predrag Skokovic
was awarded for his paper ‘Getting it right the first time’. He earned the ‘Best paper
certificate’ and was invited to present his ideas at the following conferences around Europe.
