The scope of the project was to complete EXECOM’s client ultra-advanced lamp driver solution for light system management and maintenance. Solution that enables higher light and safety levels, energy savings up to 65%, double lamp lifetime, and improves light depreciation characteristics, needed a powerful front-end solution. EXECOM’s task was to develop a web application which gathers, aggregates, analyses and presents data to system users.

Having an experienced team, EXECOM was ready to start with intensive knowledge transfer sessions. At organized meetings in EXECOM’s offices, the client presented functionalities and business case of the system to be implemented. After five months of intensive development and testing, the EXECOM team delivered the requested solution, suitable for factories and large halls.
The system runs on both Windows and Linux platforms with Apache module Passenger. It gathers data from local databases into a central database in order to enable users to manage and monitor lights on a real time basis. End users are in control as much as possible – they monitor the system online, set up personalized time control, generate energy savings reports, plan upfront and have preventive maintenance process.
Criteria for data analyzes is entered manually, since the system shows improvements over a previous solution that was running in the object. The application runs requested algorithms and enables quick search results presentation: the EXECOM developers avoided search queries over a million lines using data aggregation.
Once logged in to the system, users can choose the operation they want to perform from starting dashboard: lamp failures, energy usage per lamp, money savings, carbon footprint and trees savings for requested period and/or department.
